Students learn how to evaluate scientific literature, synthesize findings from primary research articles, identify emerging trends, and communicate complex ideas through clear, evidence-based writing.
Working one-on-one with Dr. Eliotte Garling, students select a topic that aligns with their interests and are guided through every stage of the writing process—from conducting literature searches and organizing scientific evidence to drafting, revising, and preparing a manuscript for submission to a peer-reviewed high school journal. Along the way, students build critical skills in scientific writing, source evaluation, data interpretation, and academic communication.
